I suggest a 1/2 inch wide soft nylon collar long enough to allow 2 fingers to slip snug inbetween… then add at least 6 to adjust as your dog is going to grow at an incredible rate… when dogo outgrows this one, switch to a 1 waterproof collar…. Ideally, the sooner your puppy starts wearing a collar, the quicker s/he will get used to it.
